Pro Project Promotions is driven by a passion to support former athletes, inspire the next generation, and create lasting opportunities that make a real difference.
I am a former professional footballer with a career spanning more than 20 years, dedicating my life to a sport I truly love. During this time, I shared changing rooms and pitches with some of the best players in the world, worked with great managers and coaches who pushed and challenged me, and encountered many incredible people connected to football clubs, who worked tirelessly to support me throughout my career.
My career was the one I had dreamt of as a boy—walking out at a sold-out Highbury, under the lights, to make my debut for Arsenal. Winning the game while both saving and scoring a penalty, with all my family and friends in the stands, remains an unforgettable memory that I will cherish forever.
I was a young professional at Arsenal and part of The Invincibles—the greatest Premier League team of all time. I was a member of the record-breaking Reading FC team that won the Championship with a record number of points. I played in Europe for both Millwall and Hibernian, as well as featuring in a Scottish Cup Final and the Indian Super League Final.
My career took me not only across England but around the world, spending time in Belgium, Israel, India, and Scotland. I made personal sacrifices to progress professionally leaving my family and friends to embrace different cultures while pursuing success outside of my comfort zone.
Since retiring from playing, I have experienced numerous setbacks, heartbreaks, and disappointments—both personally and professionally. I have explored different opportunities and avenues, searching for a focus and purpose through sport that would allow me to make a difference in other people’s lives.
I wanted to create something meaningful—something great, powerful, and life-changing. Something rewarding, exciting, and unforgettable.
I want to support not only sportsmen and women who have struggled since leaving professional sport but also young children and their families who never had the chance.
A career in sport never runs as smoothly or as perfectly as one might hope or expect. There are challenges and heartbreaks along the way, as well as uncertainty and relentless pressure.
I want to help young people and children less fortunate than myself by raising awareness and funds to improve their quality of life while spreading powerful messages that can inspire them to build a brighter future.
As a father of four, I am passionate, driven, ambitious, and deeply care about young people’s lives and the future of the next generation.
I have been navigating my way through life since retiring from football, working to build something I can be proud of. Now, with the support of other ex-professionals, I believe I have found it.
