I first encountered Children with Cancer UK several years ago when I was invited to take part in a golf day at The Grove. It was an incredible experience, one that left me inspired and feeling truly involved in something special.

That day, I met Dottie, a vibrant, happy young girl whose infectious smile and personality blew me away. She was full of life, laughter, and a huge football fan, especially of QPR!

I later learned that Dottie was undergoing treatment for cancer, fighting for her future. Despite her battle, she exuded strength and confidence. I still stay in touch with her dad, John, and follow her journey closely.

Children with Cancer UK is dedicated to saving young lives by funding research, supporting families, and raising awareness. As a leading charity in the fight against childhood cancer, its mission is to find better treatments and improve survival without life-changing side effects.

Cancer remains a major cause of death in children under 15, but survival rates have improved from 67% to 85.2% thanks to groundbreaking research. The charity has funded over 300 projects, investing £4 million in 2023 alone to advance treatment options.

Beyond medical research, Children with Cancer UK supports families by funding accommodation near hospitals and organising special days out, easing emotional and financial strain. It also raises awareness, collaborates with experts, and promotes early detection to give hope to families nationwide.

By supporting Children with Cancer UK, you help fund vital research, provide essential family support, and change the future for children facing cancer.
