I have also recently joined Playskill as a fundraiser—a local children's charity supporting pre-school children with physical disabilities and developmental delays. They provide free therapeutic play sessions, alongside training and support for families.

After meeting with the Playskill team, I knew we could help relieve some of their financial pressures through "A Night to Remember" and other fundraising initiatives.

Our support will help Playskill continue its vital work, ensuring children receive the therapy they need to thrive. Every donation makes a difference, providing specialist equipment, expert care, and family support to those facing daily challenges.

Empowering & Supporting Children

Playskill is a Hertfordshire-based charity dedicated to helping pre-school children with physical disabilities and developmental delays build essential life skills. Through free, specialist play sessions in Watford and Hemel Hempstead, we provide a supportive and engaging environment where children can develop their communication, movement and independence.

Our weekly playgroups are led by a team of expert therapists, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language specialists. Each session is carefully tailored to meet the individual needs of every child, ensuring they receive the best possible support at this crucial stage of their development.

We recognise that parents and carers play a vital role in their child's progress. That’s why Playskill goes beyond therapy, offering specialist training, one to one advice, and guidance on navigating health, education and financial services. Just as importantly, we provide a strong network of parents and carers, creating a community where families can share experiences, support one another and take part in social events.

All of our services are completely free to families, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. As an independent charity, Playskill receives no Government funding and relies entirely on donations to continue its vital work. Every contribution makes a difference, helping us to provide life-changing support to children and families across Hertfordshire.
