Why I'm Doing This

I never looked for the spotlight. I just did my job. Week in, week out. I showed up, put a shift in, and gave everything for my team.

Now I want to help others find their focus and belief. This is about showing people they can still succeed, even if their path is not perfect. Hard work and a strong mindset can take you further than talent alone.

Career Highlights

I came through the lower leagues and earned every step. From non-league beginnings to Premier League stadiums, I made a career through grit, consistency, and knowing how to handle pressure.

Winning promotion to the Premier League with Sheffield United and QPR were special. Playing over 600 professional games and representing the Republic of Ireland were moments I never took for granted. I kept clean sheets, stood tall under pressure, and gave everything for the badge.

Life After Football

Retiring from the game gave me time to slow down and reflect. For years, my life was a routine of training, matches, and recovery. Once that stopped, I had to find a new way to keep moving forward.

Now I focus on helping others. I know what it feels like to be under pressure. I know what it is like to deal with challenges behind the scenes. Coaching, mentoring, and being honest about the ups and downs has given me a new purpose.

Football was a big part of my life, but it is not the whole story.

The Challenges I Have Faced

I have been through tough spells. On the pitch and off it. Injuries. Setbacks. Personal battles. I know what it feels like to doubt yourself and to come under fire.

But I also know how to come back from it. I found strength through those moments, and now I want to use what I have learned to help others push through their own challenges.

The Support That Got Me Here

There were people who believed in me when it really mattered. Family. Coaches. A few key teammates who always had my back.

That kind of support makes the difference. It helped me keep going when things got heavy. Now I want to be that voice for someone else. The one who says, “You’ve got this.”
