Former Jamaica International Midfielder & Pro Project Promotions Athlete
Why I'm Doing This
I was never the flashiest player, but I worked hard, kept my head down and gave everything for the badge.
Now I want to help others do the same. This is about encouraging people to back themselves, no matter where they are starting from.
Career Highlights
I came through the ranks at Millwall, where I learned how to fight for every minute on the pitch. My career was built on consistency, discipline and heart.
Here are the clubs I played for during my career:
Millwall
Bristol City
Crawley Town
Whitehawk
Kingstonian
One of my proudest moments was helping Bristol City reach the Championship play-off final. Representing Jamaica at international level also meant the world to me and my family. Those experiences taught me what it means to compete at the highest level and stay grounded while doing it.
Life After Football
Leaving football gave me time to reflect. I spent years focused on results, training, and recovery. When that stopped, I had to reconnect with who I was outside of the sport.
Now I spend time coaching, guiding, and passing on what I have learned. That has become just as rewarding as playing.
You are more than your role. When football stops, life keeps going
The Challenges I Have Faced
Injuries hit hard. Being sidelined, watching from the stands, feeling left behind.
But I used those moments to grow stronger mentally. I rebuilt my mindset and found new purpose in helping others come through their own setbacks.
The Support That Got Me Here
My family kept me grounded. My teammates pushed me. My coaches believed in me when I needed it most.
That mix of encouragement and challenge shaped me into who I am. Now I want to be that steady presence for someone else.
Why I Am Supporting Pro Project Promotions
This is about real people and real progress. It is not just talk. It is about showing up for each other and building something bigger than sport.
That is the kind of team I want to be part of.
The Cause That Means So Much to Me
We are supporting Sport in Mind. They are using sport as a tool to support mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Staying active helped me through tough times. It gave me clarity, purpose and peace. I want others to feel that too.
How You Can Get Involved
Take a step. Go for a walk. Join a kickabout. Coach a kid. Find your own way to move and reconnect.
And support the cause. Talk about it. Share it. Let people know they are not alone.
