Why I'm Doing This

I have played at the highest level. I have lifted one of the biggest trophies in world football. But nothing compares to doing something that truly helps people.

This is not about medals or headlines. It is about making a difference. If my story can inspire someone, support someone, or lift someone, that means more than any title I have won.

Career Highlights

My journey began at Manchester United, where I came through the ranks at one of the most iconic clubs in the world. From there, I gained valuable experience on loan, showing what I could do.

I went on to play for a number of clubs, gaining experience across top divisions and earning a Premier League title:

• Manchester United

• Royal Antwerp

• Sunderland

• Ipswich Town

• Blackburn Rovers

• Newcastle United

• Queens Park Rangers

• Leicester City

• Huddersfield Town

That season with Leicester was unforgettable. We proved that belief, unity and hard work can achieve the extraordinary. To be part of that will always be one of the proudest moments of my life.

Life After Football

Football will always be part of me. But stepping away from the pitch helped me see things differently.

Now I focus on staying strong, being present with my family and thinking about what I want to leave behind.

You do not need to wear a shirt to still lead. Legacy is not only built on the pitch

Whether it is coaching, mentoring or supporting others, I still feel part of the game. Just in a new way.

The Challenges I Have Faced

Stepping back was tough. I missed the drive, the intensity, the structure.

But I started to look for different challenges. Supporting others became my focus. It gave me energy and purpose. It helped me grow.

I have been lucky to have good people around me. Friends. Family. Mentors. They kept me steady through every twist and turn.

Having strong support around you matters. I want to help others find that kind of foundation.
